Why does safe mode take long boot




















This is completely normal; it's just the effects of certain drivers not running. Certain problems can be fixed pretty easily using safe mode, while others may prove to be more of a challenge.

It is not normal for your Mac to be running slow afterward, unless there is something else that existed prior to the safe boot, that was impacting Photobooth, and your overall Mac functionality.
