How long do vaporizer bags last

The second part is the solid valve itself. If allowed to get too gummy, it requires a lot of pressure to take a hit, and it may not properly seal the vapors in the bag. I clean this and replace the bag with a freshie every 2 weeks. Whenever the vacuum is in the same room, I vacuum the screen at the top where the hot air comes out of the base. Now I start at the top where there is the least oil and cut a strip about the depth of the volcano bowl.

It should unwind some. I pull the strips out after a run and turn them inside out to keep them from just sticking together. Then reroll it up and stuff it back for another run or two. You can if you that hard up cut the strip and run a razor blade along a tightly held strip without tearing it.

You can get another. So if you use the HELL outta your volcano like that you most likely have a shit ton of pure oil on those bags. Then I put the spoon on top of the volcano at degrees and boil off the alcohol. A few mins later I have a nice coating of oil to drop some bud on and wipe off. Where are the instructions for cleaning the easy valve. Everything I can find is for the solid valve. Over time, the Volcano may start to rattle or make a low sound when in use. The rattling is caused by screws coming loose over time, and the screws used are not conventional. Torx T8 safety screwdrivers are the right option to tighten the screws and keep the unit from rattling. Loctite can be used with great success to keep the screws from working their way out of the Volcano. Replacement screws are available direct, and the replacement screws will use the conventional screw that can be used with a Philips screwdriver.

If screws are lost over time, they are able to be replaced direct from the manufacturer. Q-tips and rubbing alcohol will be used extensively during the cleaning process, allowing users to thoroughly clean out all components of the Volcano.

A person using the Volcano daily will need to change bags more often than a weekly or casual user. The general rule of thumb is that the bag needs to be replaced when it starts to stick to itself.

This happens after extended use, and users will need to help the bag fill more. Others will begin replacing their bags when the vapor begins to leak from the seal of the gaskets. There is also a school of thought that the bags should be changed once their color starts to turn. Heavy users will change their bags once a month or as often as every two weeks if the resin starts to build-up in the unit. See replacement parts.

A lot of users forget to clean their Volcano, and like any vaporizer, there will be gunk build-up and cleaning required. Cleaning is going to keep your unit running more efficiently for longer. If you use the unit a few times a week, a monthly cleaning schedule will suffice. Monthly cleanings are ideal, keeping the unit clean and running efficiently.

Valves are disposable, and there are a few parts of the filling chamber that should be cleaned and soaked. The plastic parts of the filling chamber and any silicone rings should be soaked in warm soapy water. Designed with the consumer in mind, the system is easy to use and master. Thread starter Fihfinder86 Start date Sep 26, Fihfinder86 Well-Known Member. Hey guys, I am wondering how long a creamy bag would last if left closed and out of direct light? Being a medicinal user, this would be very beneficial in certain situations.

Also I am looking for a thread with information on when the herb is "done", probably a fairly long thread as its a subjective topic, as well as making cannabutter from vaporized herb, the search feature did not help me.
